Global digital advertising specialist backs revolutionary new disruptive video streaming platform Lounges.tv
The multi-year deal between the digital advertising specialist and the new streaming platform, backed by global music mogul Simon Cowell, is set to expand Lounges' support for a better deal for music creators online. Ocean manage some of the most famous advertising spaces in the UK, including the iconic Piccadilly lights and BFI IMAX. This partnership continues Lounges.tv's mission to democratise the content creation industry and give artists a higher proportion of the revenue generated from their work.
The partnership marks a significant contribution from Ocean Outdoor who will be supporting Lounges.tv to get their content seen nationally across the UK with a series of exciting outdoor activations including the major cities of London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh over the coming years.
Lounges.tv addresses the long-standing issue around revenues for creators by providing a platform where creators get to keep 80% of their streaming income, and are rapidly paid within 24 hours of their on-demand content or live stream.
Thousands of creators have already signed up to the ad-free platform, which, in addition to Cowell, is backed also by iconic musician Prince's former manager Kiran Sharma and BBC iPlayer's Ben Lavender
