MaNkomo started dancing for as long as she can remember walking. It all started from her cultural roots, with the traditional dancing of the isiNdebele tribe in Zambia. 

In primary school, however, she got her first performance and has been honing her craft ever since.

She can be considered a student of rhythm, though clinging to animation as a foundation, she is always on the lookout to learn more styles. "Dance is not just movement, it's an essence, an expression. And I've always loved to talk."
