Prince Kruger, born Njabulo Kutlwano Ntohla in 1997 in Freestate QwaQwa, moved to Johannesburg in 1999. His musical journey began in 2004 when he joined the school choir, igniting his passion for music. Growing up in SOWETO's Orlando West, he was deeply influenced by the surrounding music culture, particularly the big hits of the 90s and early 2000s, which played a pivotal role in shaping his unique music-making style. In 2015, he embarked on full-time songwriting, initially crafting lyrics without access to beats or a producer. He sourced beats from the internet and honed his songwriting skills, gradually developing a hunger for success and a desire to create original records. This drive led him to freestyle on the streets and, in 2017, he crossed paths with "BEST," a beat maker and producer, recommended by those who recognized his exceptional flow on beats and his talent for composing songs. This meeting marked a turning point in Prince Kruger's musical journey.
