Dance For Stevie's fundraising initiative kicked off on October 3, 2021, at London's iconic Ministry of Sound. This initiative is dedicated to assisting Steve, a renowned DJ from the legendary Soulful house duo, Bobby & Steve, who is grappling with the rare brain injury Acute haemorrhagic leukoencephalitis.

Steve's journey began on March 29, 2020, when he contracted Covid-19. His subsequent 21-day ventilator treatment and induced coma revealed the extent of the damage caused by the virus to his nervous system, leading to his diagnosis. Presently, Steve is in a Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness, unable to communicate or move his body, and receiving care in a neurological facility for almost four years.

Despite the challenges, Steve's situation has not worsened, and the global House, Soul & Disco community has united to provide financial support. Our recent Jazz Café event exemplified this unity, featuring captivating performances by Rochelle Fleming, Robert Owens, Natasha Watts, Bryan Chambers, and comedy from Quincy.
