<p>Charity single ‘Proud’ first popularised by Susan Boyle, is Sam’s latest venture in her quest to ‘give something back’. Although her own story includes more than a fair share of personal tragedy, including medical negligence, infant death and suicide.</p><p><br></p><p>‘When doctors removed my mum’s life support, I climbed into her hospital bed, wrapped her arms around me and sang to her.
