From 2014 to 2019 I was battling cancer and having major surgery. I studied to be a sex therapist as I was bedridden for long periods. I had known a lot of people in Brighton on the fetish scene as a photographer and venue manager at Brighton Arts Club, where I hosted underground events. 
I launched the Good Sex Clinic podcast at the time with advice and information but went down a different career path after my recovery, essentially returning to my art and music projects.
