Grateful was written in the middle of a crisis when I looked at life and saw all it displayed and everything unfamiliar. I asked the question with curiosity: what is this? Is the cup half full, or is the cup half empty?

I could choose where I was viewing life from. I was inspired to look around me, thanking God for what I had and around me.

Life is a moment in the here and now that we share right now. We can begin to thank God for the breath we share together and exhale for the opportunity for a new day, reminding us that we have so much. Giving thanks is a law; it is a matter of the heart connecting in appreciation to God's love, realising the good despite difficulties, challenges, and trials.
